Cousins Properties Vice Chairman DuPree resigns (AP)

ATLANTA (AP) -- Real estate investment trust Cousins Properties Inc. said Monday Vice Chairman Dan DuPree has resigned effective March 15 and accepted another position in the real estate industry.

Last month, the company announced DuPree, formerly Cousins Properties' president and chief operating officer, had been named vice chairman.

The company did not provide further details.

Shares of Cousins Properties fell 61 cents, or 8.6 percent, to close the regular session at $6.50 Monday. In after-hours trading, the stock gained 11 cents to $6.61.
