Retail daily average revenue trades were 35,100 in May, down 7 percent from the same month last year.
Total client assets declined 4 percent to $5.7 billion. Client assets at the end of May were 4 percent higher than they were at the end of April.
OptionsXpress had 334,600 accounts at the end of the month, 16 percent more than the same time last year and 1 percent more than the end of April.
