Sharon G. Grosser Joins Madison National Bank as Director of External Affairs (Business Wire)

Grosser’s responsibilities will include generating new business opportunities and continuing to expand and build upon the Bank’s current relationships. Ms. Grosser is also on the Board of the Madison National Foundation which provides funding to support charitable causes and community development activities in the communities served by the Bank. Prior to joining Madison, she was the first executive director for the Roslyn Savings Foundation, serving in that position for ten years.

Ms. Grosser launched her career at Grumman Aerospace Corporation. The last 18 years of her 30 year experience with Grumman had her serving as the Corporation’s manager of community affairs. She is a graduate of both the State University of New York at Farmingdale and Adelphi University. She currently serves on the president’s advisory council at Adelphi University. She is also a member of the Arthritis Foundation’s Board of Directors.

Ms. Grosser has been recognized by numerous charitable organizations including the American Heart Association, Education and Assistance Corporation, Project Grad, Adelphi University, Mental Health Association of Nassau County and the Theodore Roosevelt Council of the Boy Scouts. A 2009 Hall of Fame honoree, Ms. Grosser was selected as one of the Top 50 Most Influential Women in Business in 2006, 2004 and 2009. She was also featured in a 2003 cover story by Networking Magazine.
