READING, Pa. (AP) -- Industrial battery maker EnerSys Inc. said Thursday its fiscal fourth-quarter profit jumped 84 percent as increased sales more than offset higher commodity costs.

SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) -- Thornburg Mortgage Inc. said Thursday it swung to a $3.31 billion loss in the first quarter, and expects loan delinquencies to continue to increase "modestly" for the rest of the year.
